Dyer gave his team a quick nod before getting up from the table. He tossed a gold coin to Morag and then headed out to the bustling streets of the city. He stopped by the pet station where he retrieved his wolf, Bait, and then headed deeper into the city to collect supplies for his adventure.

Passing by the elevator lifts through a large gate Dyer entered a part of the city known as The Drag. Merchants of various backgrounds had set up shops in the stone buildings and towers along the canyon walls. If you wanted to find any kind of supplies, it would most likely be in The Drag.

It didn’t take long for Dyer to visit his favorite shops and get the handful of items he needed. Most of them were just standard rations he might need. He wasn’t quite sure why he bought them since he wouldn’t have to go very far to get to the entrance of Ragefire Chasm. In fact the entrance was not too far from the middle of The Drag. For some odd reason he felt compelled to be prepared.

He soon found himself in front of the cavern opening that led down into the Cleft of Shadows, a place where dark mystical arts were practiced and performed. It was also where the entrance to Ragefire Chasm was located and where he expected to find his team waiting.

He strolled into the dark and smokey passage down into the dark cavern that served as an operations basin for warlocks and rogues alike. Large braziers lined the outside walls giving the cavern a dark red glow.

At the base of the ramp leading down was the main commerce area. No sunlight ever penetrated the cavern. The smoke from the braziers filtered their way to the surface through the two main tunnels. Dyer guessed he was at least 150 meters underground. At the very least he knew the flight towers and platforms where almost 500 meters above him.
