Most Elves had a hard time accepting the idea of a friendly Troll. Despite the evidence that Trolls and Elves had once been the same race, most Elves had been at war with one clan of Trolls or another for as long as anyone could remember. The Amani Trolls still had several camps in Eversong Woods and their former capitol was in ruins on the southern border of Quel’Thalas. The Amani Trolls were known to attack young unprotected Blood Elves if they strayed too far from the city and its guards. Despite this fact, Dyerwolf was the leader guild of adventurers and his right hand man, his first lieutenant, was in fact a Troll.

Dyerwolf didn’t know the real name of his Troll companion. He had simply called himself Faultye. Despite the name he was a shamanistic master of the elements who had come to save Dyer’s life over and over again. His mysterious nature and bizarre Troll mysticism were only matched by his unwavering resolve.

Faultye always traveled with him his mate, a female Troll druid named Selycena. While she was mostly quiet and kept to herself, she had a strong competitive spirit on the field of battle. Her fierceness in combat was offset only by her respect for nature. It was not uncommon to see her give thanks to the spirits before removing the skins of animals she had slain.

There were several other Trolls in the guild but one had been absent from his routine roster, a mage that went by the name of Fryer. It had been over six months since he had left to attend special training in Dalaran. The Troll mage was already one of the most powerful beings Dyer knew and the training would only make him stronger. Despite the playful banter and joshing between them on missions, Dyer often wished he had been around for the most recent challenges.
