Dyer casually made his way downstairs half hoping the Orc would just give up and go away. His favorite pet wolf was sprawled out half asleep on the couch. It barely opened it’s eyes to acknowledge his master’s presence as Dyer walked through the room. He was getting old and Dyer would need to replace him soon. After several long seconds of uninterrupted pounding, Dyer finally opened the door to come face to face with the flat faced green Orc messenger.

“Lok’tar Ogar!” greeted the Orc. “Are you Daelin Bowstrider?”

“I am,” sighed Dyer as he braced himself for the inevitable.

“Garrosh Hellscream has requested your presence in Orgrimmar as soon as possible.”

Dyer wanted to tell the Orc that he could return to Garrosh and shove his summons where the Sunwell didn’t shine. However he knew the consequences of such a statement was likely to get him a far worse treatment than death.

“Very well,” replied Dyer. “I have to get my house in order and send out message flyers to my team. Tell Garrosh I’ll be on the first zeppelin out of Lordaeron in the morning.”

“Okie dokie,” nodded the Orc uncertain if he was going to get a better response. He gave a quick salute as Dyer shut the door. He heard the Orc go running back up the street as he walked over to his pet wolf and started scratching it behind the ear. The wolf growled in appreciation and leaned over to lick Dyer in the face.

“Come on, boy,” said Dyer. “We’ve got work to do before we go see our glorious leader.”
