Darkness overwhelm him and for what seemed like an eternity Dyer found himself in total nothingness. He never knew how long he was actually in transit. There was nothing to form any kind of frame of reference for the passage of time. And just when it seemed like it would never end, his sight returned and he found himself in the dark and dank courtyard of Lordaeron.

The crumbling walls of what was once the seat of human occupation of the northern continent was now the home of its undead owners. A green haze floated just above the city filling the air with a foul smell and blocking out almost all sunlight.

The courtyard itself was empty save for the bring red and yellow glowing Orb of Translocation. Dyer had been told that ghosts wandered through the courtyard. Although he couldn’t see them himself, he could feel their presences. He knew that warlocks and alchemists could see the ghosts but to him they were simply unseen apparitions.

The Forsaken themselves lived in the dark bleak sewer system of the city. They had a few of their carts and cages spread about the surface but most of the business took place underground. They had called it The Undercity and Dyer only ventured down when it was absolutely necessary.

He walked across the courtyard and into the main entrance to the city. To his right was the passage to the throne room and access to the undercity. The left led to the main gate and outside into Tirisfal Glades. Just outside the city he would find the zeppelin towers where passage to the continent of Kalimdor and the city of Orgrimmar waited for him.
